The CHP 408 Windsor is the combination that started it all. Since we built our first 408 in 1992 this engine has powered more fast Ford cars than any other single combination.
Based on the simple theory that the more air you stuff through an engine with as few pauses as possible, the more power you will make, the 408 Windsor is probably the best engineered 351 in existence. This combination allows excellent airflow, weight compromises, and longevity (through stress reduction) making it a great choice, especially for racers on a budget.

Your rotating assembly can be balanced to 28oz, you just use your 28oz flywheel/flexplate and balancer, select this from the options above.

the 408 kit i bought is just awesome! stuck it in my race car and tagged it for the street, during mustang week at myrtle beach got into a street race with a 600 motorcycle and beat him by a car, he was impressed and so was i
